We are looking for recent graduate engineers to join our London-based team and help us develop exciting new products, based on our innovative technology.

Caeli Nova specialises in developing novel solutions for human protection in extreme aviation environments, and is looking to expand on its existing portfolio. We are looking for individuals who are keen to make a difference, whilst developing novel solutions in a fast-paced and supportive environment.

This role is suited to individuals who are interested in gaining exposure to R&D and design activities, while engineering products that positively impact human survivability and physiology. You will be responsible for the design and development of our in-house developed products, as well working on projects in support of our partners across a number of industries. As a member of the engineering team, you will have the opportunity to get involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle including the development of initial concepts and prototypes, medical trials and designing for production. You will be joining a diverse team, who collaborate closely to solve unique and challenging problems that make a huge difference to a range of industries.

As well as being a self-motivating team player, we are open to considering people from a variety of scientific & engineering disciplines, who are likely to have gained a 1st class or 2:1 degree in the last 3 years, or be predicted to graduate this summer, including:

  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Biomedical Engineering
  • Chemical Engineering
  • Electrical and Electronic Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering

Experience in the following areas would be beneficial:

  • Academic or industrial research and development (gained after graduation or during an engineering internship)

  • Programming, ideally interfacing with sensors and basic electronic hardware
  • A good understanding of fluid mechanics
  • Aerospace or medical industries

Ideal candidates are also likely to be:

  • Passionate about improving the sustainability of air travel and / or improving human performance in extreme environments
  • Willing to take on a variety of different technical challenges, whenever needed
  • Comfortable being personally accountable for projects
  • Proactive, well organised and self-motivated
  • Willingness to travel, including participation in overseas trials campaigns
