Junior Accountant (Apprentice)

Caeli Nova is an exciting early-stage venture at the intersection of the medical technology and aerospace industries. We have developed and patented a new technology which successfully re-thinks the science behind human performance, safety, and survival in various critical situations which we believe will help make the world a greener and safer place.
The company has grown quickly since inception and is now looking to bring on board an individual to support our Finance Manager with associated finance activities and other projects. The candidate will be involved in the day-to-day tasks of running a company, including bookkeeping review, supplier payments, cash reconciliation, and production of reports for various stakeholders. The individual will also liaise with our key external contacts such as payroll and accounting providers, tax experts, collaborators’ finance departments, suppliers, and others. This is an opportunity to join a dynamic team, which draws on skills from industry experts, top consulting and investment banking firms, as well as leading research institutions.
We are looking for an independent, self-motivating team player who is excited about working in a fast-paced environment fulfilling a wide variety of tasks.
Suitable candidates are likely to be individuals looking to get essential hands-on work experience while working towards an AAT qualification, and have:
- At least 5 GCSEs at grades A*-C/9-4, including English and Maths
- Proactive, well organized, high-energy self-starter
- Ability to articulate ideas clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Keen to work in a fast growing environment, and dealing with new challenges everyday
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Interest in the medical technology and aerospace industries
